Research Instruction Sessions
Research instruction classes are an opportunity for students to learn firsthand from librarians how to use library resources and services. We tailor each research instruction session to the specific needs of each course and assignment, while helping students build a strong foundation of information literacy skills. Research instruction sessions are available in both in-person and online modalities. Use this form to request a research instruction session.
Research guides provide guidance and assistance to students conducting research outside of class, as well as access to the best library, web, and video resources available for each course, topic, or assignment. TC3 Librarians work with faculty members to customize each guide to ensure each guide meets student needs for research. TC3 Library Research Guides can also be embedded in Brightspace course shells, making navigation easier for students. Use this form to request a research guide.
TC3 Librarians create numerous instructional videos to demonstrate how to use a variety of library resources. Use this form to request a video tutorial.
Each department at TC3 has a dedicated library liaison who focuses on ensuring the information needs of every department is met by the library. As a part of that work, library liaisons will also consult with faculty to ensure library resources and instruction best meet your students research and information literacy needs.
